
Nia Davies has named a 20-player squad for the 2024/25 UEFA WU19 EURO Round 2 League A qualifiers that will take place in south Wales next week (2-8 April).
Cymru will host France, the Republic of Ireland and Serbia, with all of Cymru’s matches taking place at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli. The group winners will qualify for the final tournament in Poland from 15 to 27 June
Several players that have been selected have been involved in senior team camps over the last year, including Mared Griffiths and Scarlett Hill who were involved in last month’s matches against Italy and Sweden.
S4C will be live streaming Cymru’s opening match on Wednesday 2 April on Sgorio’s YouTube and Facebook channels (KO 5pm). Cymru’s matches against the Republic of Ireland (1pm Saturday 5 April) and Serbia (3pm Tuesday 8 April) will be available to watch on RedWall+, whilst the other matches in the group will also be live streamed on the platform.
Entry on the gate for all matches in the tournament will be £3 for adults and free of charge for children.
