Cymru will face Iceland, Montenegro and Türkiye in Group B4 of this year’s UEFA Nations League tournament, with matches due to take place in September, October and November.
Rob Page was present at the draw in Paris as he discovered his side’s opponents for later this year. Cymru will be familiar with Türkiye having faced them in the recent UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying campaign. However, Montenegro and Iceland will be less familiar opponents, having last faced the sides in 2011 and 2014 respectively.
The campaign will open with a home match against Türkiye on Friday 6 September, followed by an away match to Montenegro three days later. The October window will consist of matches away to Iceland on Friday 11 October and a home match against Montenegro on Monday 14 October. The campaign will then end with an away fixture against Türkiye on Saturday 16 November and a final match at home to Iceland on Tuesday 19 November.
All matches except for Türkiye away will kick off at 19:45 BST/GMT. There will be a kick off time of 17:00 GMT for the match in Türkiye.
Rob Page “We look at that group and we believe we can be successful.”
