Free club and school tickets for Cymru U21 friendly against Liechtenstein

Schools and clubs from across the country will be able to watch Cymru U21 for free when they take on Liechtenstein in a friendly at Rodney Parade on Friday 8 September.

The fixture will get under way at 4:30pm and aid preparations for Cymru’s second 2025 UEFA European Under-21 qualifier against Lithuania, which will take place four days later on Tuesday 12 September at Jonava Stadium.

The match in Newport will be the first Cymru have played on home soil since Matty Jones’ appointment as head coach in September 2022.

Jones’ side began their qualifying campaign with a 2-2 draw against Denmark in June, with Rubin Colwill scoring a brace against the top seeds in Group I, and will look to build on the result in the September window.

The FAW is offering free tickets for school trips or clubs to attend the fixture against Liechtenstein. If you volunteer for a club or work in either a primary, secondary or further education institution, you can express your interest in attending below.

The ticket application window closes at 12pm on Thursday 31 August.

Tickets are also on general sale, priced at £2 for adults and £2 for U16s, and are available to purchase below.
