With EURO 2025 fast approaching, the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) have today launched a comprehensive guide designed to help The Red Wall prepare for the tournament and make the most of their experience.
The guide, developed in collaboration with the FAW, Wal Goch Y Menywod, Cymru Women’s Supporters Group, FSA Cymru and Football Supporters Europe, provides Cymru supporters with everything they need to know ahead of the finals in Switzerland this July.
From practical travel advice to cultural tips, fixture information, ticketing guidance, and safety protocols, the EURO 2025 Supporters’ Guide aims to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for all those following the national team abroad.
Supporting the Red Wall in Switzerland
This marks Cymru’s first ever appearance in a major women’s tournament, and anticipation is running high across the country. The FSA and FAW have worked jointly to reflect the voice of supporters throughout the guide, reinforcing their shared commitment to safe, inclusive, and enjoyable fan experiences.
Macsen Jones, Fan Engagement Executive at the FAW, said:“This is a historic moment for Welsh football and for our incredible fans. We’re proud to work alongside the FSA to support the Red Wall as they travel to Switzerland. This guide is a practical tool that puts supporters at the heart of the journey, providing key information so they can focus on enjoying the tournament and backing our team.”
The guide covers key tournament cities, public transport options, fan zones, fan walks, local laws, accessibility details, and useful Welsh and Swiss language phrases. It also offers matchday tips and emergency contact details, including information on how to access assistance from the FAW and FSA Fan Embassies while in Switzerland.
FSA Championing Supporter Experience
Deborah Dilworth, Head of Women’s Football at the FSA, added:“It has been a huge delight to support Wal y Goch y Menywod and Wales Women’s Supporters Group to help shape what they plan to offer for Wales fans across the tournament.
“This complements the fantastic existing work done by both supporters groups to help travelling fans. I am so excited to see the fans out in Switzerland and can’t wait to see the reaction of the Wales women’s fans to the supporter’s guide.”
The EURO 2025 Supporters’ Guide is now available to download for free from both the FSA and FAW websites. Printed copies will also be distributed through fan groups throughout the tournament.
Cymru will begin their EURO 2025 campaign in Group D, facing The Netherlands, France and England. Their first match kicks off on July 5th in Lucerne, and thousands of fans are expected to make the trip to support the team as they make history on the European stage.
