Time is running out to take advantage of double ticket offer for Cymru WEURO matches

Helen Ward inducted into Welsh Sports Hall of Fame

Cymru centurion and record goal scorer Helen Ward has been inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame.

Ward announced her retirement earlier this year after scoring 44 goals in 105 appearances for Cymru. Her playing career included an FA Cup winners medal with Arsenal, which also saw her represent Chelsea, Reading and her first club Watford, where she ended her playing career as captain. Since retiring, Ward has taken up a full time role with Watford as the club’s General Manager.

Ward’s addition to the Welsh Hall of Fame means she joins several Welsh footballers with the accolade, including John Charles, Cliff Jones and Jayne Ludlow amongst others.

The FAW would like to congratulate Helen on the achievement.
