The Football Association of Wales is sad to learn about the recent passing of John Harris, a former Council Member with the association.
Born in 1940, Mr Harris was voted on to the FAW Council in 2001 as a representative of the South Wales Area Member Clubs and retired in 2020, having reached the age of 80.
Mr Harris was also on the committee of the old Welsh Football League having joined in 1995, where he held the position of Match Appointments Secretary.
