On Monday (13 March) the Football Association of Wales will be hosting a Become a Referee taster session at the African Community Centre in the Grand Multicultural Hub, Swansea.
The session is part of the PAWB Referee Diversity Programme, demonstrating that the FAW is committed to ensuring football is for EVERYONE and that its workforce is representative of Welsh society.
The Swansea event follows last month’s successful taster session in Cardiff that was organised in collaboration with Nooh Omar from Urdd Gobaith Cymru.
Attendees in Swansea can expect JD Cymru South Assistant Referee, Amin Said to put them through their paces with refereeing video clips, a Laws Of The Game quiz, and a Question & Answer session.
All eligible attendees will be provided with full access to complete the FAW Referee Award course online, as well as the opportunity to receive a free Macron Referee Kit Pack to ensure they are well equipped to begin their refereeing journey.
