A general view of Rodney Parade, which will host Cymru's 2027 UEFA U21 EURO qualifying fixtures

Rodney Parade will once again be the home for Cymru U21s as they kick off their 2027 UEFA U21 EURO qualifying campaign this autumn.

Matty Jones’ side will begin their journey against top seeds Denmark on Monday, 8 September (7.30pm) before facing Belgium on Friday, 10 October (KO TBC).

This opening fixture marks the start of a crucial qualifying campaign, as Cymru U21s look to build on recent progress and aim for a historic first-ever qualification for a major European tournament.

Drawn from Pot 4 in February’s UEFA draw, Cymru face a challenging five-team group featuring Denmark, Belgium, Austria, and Belarus.

The qualification campaign will run from March 2025 to October 2026, with play-offs set for November 2026, leading up to the final tournament in summer 2027.

Rodney Parade, the home of Newport County and the Dragons RFC, will host Cymru’s remaining home qualifiers throughout 2025 and 2026, continuing its proud role at the heart of U21 international football in Wales.

Ticket and broadcast information for the Denmark match will be announced in due course.
