Rodney Parade to host Cymru’s final UEFA U21 EURO qualifier against Czechia

Cymru will conclude their UEFA U21 EURO qualifying campaign against Czechia at Rodney Parade as Matty Jones’ side aim to make history.

The qualifier will get under way at 5:30PM on Friday 11 October in Newport and will be shown live on S4C Clic and Sgorio’s YouTube and Facebook, with Welsh and English commentary available..

Cymru have never reached a UEFA U21 EURO finals tournament before but Jones’ side have given themselves an opportunity to seal at least a play-off place heading into their final two fixtures.

They sit second in Group I following an impressive campaign which has seen them earn three wins and two draws, with their only defeat coming against top seeds and current group leaders Denmark.

Cymru travel to Reykjavik on Tuesday 10 September for their penultimate game against Iceland at Víkingsvöllur before concluding the campaign on home soil in October.

Ticketing details for the fixture will be released in due course.
