Supporter Information: Gibraltar & Slovakia

Cymru’s June international window will feature two away matches as Rob Page’s side travel to the Estadio Algarve in Portugal to face Gibraltar (Thursday 6 June) and the Anton Malatinsky Stadium in Trnava to face Slovakia (Sunday 9 June). 

For those travelling as part of the Red Wall, below you will find important information and FCDO travel advice for the two fixtures. The FSA Cymru guide for the two fixtures is also available here.

Gibraltar v Cymru – 5:00pm Thursday 6 June – Estadio Algarve, Faro
The stadium is located approximately 8km north of the city of Faro, located next to the A22 motorway. Public transport to the stadium is extremely limited so it is suggested that you plan your travel to and from the stadium well in advance. 

Car parking for fans is available at the stadium on match day.

No bags bigger than A4 size will be permitted into the Estadio Algarve and there are no storage facilities available at the stadium. Supporter flags should be in accordance with UEFA regulations. Please contact fans@faw.cymru if you have any queries. 

Stadium gates open at 15:30 and there will be food kiosks available inside. In accordance with Portuguese law alcohol will not be available to supporters. 

Children under the ages of 3 will not be allowed entry to the stadium and children between the ages of 3 and 6 require written consent prior to entering the stadium. Please contact tickets@faw.cymru if you require a form. 

Ticket collections
Supporters should have been notified if they are required to collect their match tickets. Collections will take place at the AP Eva Senses Hotel in Faro at the times stated below.

• Wednesday 5 June 12:00pm – 4:00pm

• Thursday 6 June 10:30am – 2:30pm

Slovakia v Cymru – 8:45pm CET Sunday 9 June – Anton Malatinsky Stadium, Trnava
There is a 30 minute train between Bratislava and Trnava for fans looking to travel by public transport. However, if you are traveling back to Bratislava following the match, public transport is limited. Please plan alternative routes well in advance. 

The stadium is located approximately half a mile from the main square in Trnava where there are restaurants and bars for the Red Wall to enjoy before the game. 

Entry to the ground will open 2 hours before kick of. Food and drink kiosks (including hot food and alcohol) are available at the stadium for supporters.

No bags bigger than A4 size will be permitted into the stadium. Power banks and personal cameras will be allowed. The nearest storage facilities are at the train station.
