The draws for the 2023/24 UEFA EURO U17 & U19 Qualifying Rounds took place today (8 December) in Nyon, Switzerland.
Rob Edwards’ Cymru, who were seeded in Pot C for the #U19EURO qualifying round draw, will take on England, Austria, and Montenegro in Group 12.
Montenegro will host the mini-tournament with Cymru’s fixtures taking place between September-November 2023.
The top two teams in each group will join top seeds Portugal in the spring 2024 elite round along with the third-placed team with the best record against the top two in their section.
Craig Knight’s under-17s were seeded in Pot C for the #U17EURO qualifying round draw.
Cymru were drawn in Group 12 with Belgium, Israel and Gibraltar.
Israel will host the mini tournament that will take place September-November 2023.
There are 13 groups with four teams in each. The top two in each group will progress to the elite round along with five third-placed teams with the best record against the top two in their section.
