FAW announce landmark domestic football partnership with Hummel

The Football Association of Wales (FAW) is delighted to announce a three-year partnership with global sportswear brand Hummel.

From the 2026/27 season, Hummel will become an official partner of the FAW’s domestic leagues, serving as the ‘Official Ball Supplier’ for the JD Cymru Leagues and Genero Adran Premier. Hummel will also supply balls in the Adran North, Adran South and the Ardal Leagues. In addition, the sports and lifestyle brand will become the ‘Official Referee Kit Supplier’ of the Football Association of Wales.

Hummel, who already boast high-profile partnerships with clubs including AFC Bournemouth and Sunderland AFC in the English Premier League, brings a strong reputation in football and a well-regarded brand for their heritage, quality and community engagement.

Chris Kirby, Director of Sports Logistics at Hummel, said: “We are delighted and excited to be part of the future of the FAW and the domestic game. The ethos of our business and the brand Hummel is to be on all playing fields to unite communities.

“This partnership is a great example of where two organisations are aligned on their purpose and vision and we look forward to the journey together.”

Jack Sharp, FAW Head of Domestic Leagues, said: “This partnership with Hummel is the first of many exciting announcements to come for our domestic game.

“With the 2026/27 season marking a period of significant change, we are delighted to welcome Hummel on this journey with us. We have enjoyed getting to know Chris and the team at Hummel and look forward to working with them over the next three years.

“We would also like to place on record our thanks to Macron for their longstanding support of Welsh domestic football.

“The partnership with Hummel represents another important step forward in the continued development and growth of the National Leagues.”
