Cymru has today revealed its new 2026/27 SUDU Away Kit, a bold, optimistic design rooted in Welsh heritage and set to make its debut on the international stage this September.
The Away Kit shares its foundation with the Home Kit: a bespoke pattern drawn from Welsh tapestry, inspired by the fabrics and archives of Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales. Elements taken from different heritage tapestry designs are blended into one new, distinctive pattern, a story woven to resonate with all Welsh people, and a nod to the age-old craft of Welsh double cloth weaving.
Where the two kits diverge is in colour. The Away Kit arrives in a bold day lily yellow, Melyn, the colour of the daffodil, the flower of Wales. It is a deep yellow Cymru last wore as an away kit in 2020-22, and it is chosen for what the daffodil represents. The daffodil is a symbol of resilience: through the darkest, hardest months of the year it pushes up through the cold ground to stand tall, offering light, optimism and hope. That is the spirit the team carries onto the pitch away from home, rising, standing tall, and playing with belief in tougher surroundings.
A detail unique to this shirt sets it apart from the Home Kit: a rib knit collar with contrast tipping, a subtle point of difference that marks the away shirt as its own. The kit is completed with Scarab green shorts finished with day lily yellow piping, tying the daffodil colourway through the full set.
As with every SUDU kit, the Away Kit has been designed in close collaboration with first team players, ensuring an optimum fit and the technical performance to match its striking looks. These are shirts built to perform just as well as they look, engineered alongside the very players who will wear them.
The kit is expected to make its senior international debut when the Cymru Men’s team takes to the pitch for their fixture in Portugal this September. It is a fitting first senior outing for a kit built on resilience and belief in tougher surroundings.
The new 2026/27 Wales SUDU Away Kit will be available to purchase at the Official Wales Football Store from 9am on Friday, 28 August.

Launching alongside the Away Kit are two supporting collections, both reimagined in the new away colourway of day lily yellow, Melyn, and Scarab green.
The Away Pre-Match range is inspired by Yma o Hyd, the unofficial national anthem of Wales, featuring a bold graphic print with the sectors of Wales in a halftone pattern overprinted across the song’s name. Presented in a bold day lily yellow, it is a statement collection that gets the team and fans ready before kick-off.
The Away Players Training range is built on the industry that powered the world, featuring a bold geometric print based on Welsh pit headgear designs. Delivered in away colours of day lily yellow and Scarab green across t-shirts, vests, quarter zips, jackets, shorts and pants, it lets supporters train in the story of a nation.
Both collections will be available to purchase at the Official Wales Football Store from 9am on Friday, 28 August.
