Cymru to host UEFA EURO MU19 Qualifying Round in November

Cymru MU19s will welcome some of Europe’s top young talent to south Wales this November as they host Round 2 of qualifying for the 2026/27 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.

Jon Grey’s side have been drawn in Group A5 alongside Finland, Iceland and reigning champions Spain, with six matches taking place across three venues in Newport and Cardiff between 11 and 17 November.

The mini tournament comes after an exciting summer for Cymru MU19s, having hosted the previous 2025/26 UEFA European Under-19 Championship finals in venues across North Wales in June and July. The upcoming qualifiers provide another opportunity to showcase Cymru as a host of international football, while giving supporters the chance to watch the next generation of talent in action on home soil.

Cymru will begin their campaign against Finland at Rodney Parade on Wednesday 11 November (7pm KO), before taking on defending champions Spain on Saturday 14 November (12:30pm KO). Grey’s side will then bring their campaign to a close against Iceland on Tuesday 17 November (12:00pm KO). The remaining group fixtures will be hosted at Newport Stadium and Cardiff International Sports Campus, with all four nations competing across three match days.

Tickets for all Cymru matches at Rodney Parade are priced at £3 for adults and free entry for U16s. Tickets are available to purchase HERE. All six matches will be shown live on Cymru Football TV.
