Connah’s Quay Nomads and Llanelli Town meet in the semi-finals of the JD Welsh Cup at Park Avenue in Aberystwyth with the two battling it out for a place in the final at Rodney Parade.

The Nomads have continued their defence of the cup by overcoming teams in both the Cymru North and Cymru South, with only the Reds now standing in their way of reaching the final in Newport once again.

In the last round, Connah’s Quay beat Caerau Ely 2-0view highlights here – at Cwrt-yr-Ala-Road with men’s national team manager Craig Bellamy in attendance. Bellamy witnessed Rhys Hughes scoring a stupendous strike in the first period before Noah Edwards doubled their advantage.

As for Llanelli who take a break from league action but are top of the Cymru South, they have beaten clubs across various levels of the Welsh pyramid. At the quarter-final stage they headed to Central Park to face Denbigh Town of the Cymru North and defeated them 1-0view highlights here – courtesy of an Alex Giardelli goal.

When does Connah’s Quay Nomads v Llanelli Town take place?

The match takes place on Saturday, March 15 at Park Avenue, the home of Cymru Premier club Aberystwyth Town. The Action gets underway in Aberystwyth at 12.30 pm (GMT).

The postcode for Park Avenue is Park Ave, Aberystwyth SY23 1PG. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from Aberystwyth train station.

What channel is Connah’s Quay Nomads v Llanelli Town?

This match is the first of three games which will be shown live by our broadcast partner Sgorio. It will be available to watch both on television and on digital platforms.

Ticket details

There will be no advance ticket sales for this match. All tickets can be bought on the gate with cash and card payments available. They are priced at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions (U16s, 65+, Students).

For supporters of Llanelli Town the club are running a coach to the match which is running from The Phil Bennett in Felinfoel. The coach is priced at £20 and departs at 9.00 am. Llanelli have issued a code of conduct for supporters travelling via this service.

Referee

Saturday’s referee is David Morgan and he will be supported by Harry Hendricks and Jonathan Davis as his assistant referees with Aaron Wyn Jones the fourth official.

Morgan was the referee for the Nomads’ 2-1 win over Trefelin BGC in the third round. He has also refereed Llanelli twice this season, first in their 5-0 win against Taffs Well towards the end of October and also their 1-1 draw with Carmarthen Town in November.
