The 2023 Cymru Cup will be taking place next week with players getting their first taste of the Cymru international football environment.
Three games will take place at Colliers Park across Tuesday 25 (16:00) and Wednesday 26 (10:30 & 16:30) July, with the matches being shown live on RedWall+. The competition plays a key role in the Talent Identification and Player Development programme, with players looking to progress into the Victory Shield and UEFA Development Tournament squads in the coming years.
Three squads will be involved with players selected from the Cymru Leagues Academy systems as well as players involved in the English academy system. Previous Cymru Cup players that have progressed to play in the senior national team recently include Jordan James and Ben Woodburn.
All three matches at Colliers Park will be played behind closed doors. However, the live broadcasts will be free to watch for users registered on the RedWall+ platform.
