Cymru have learned their 2026/27 UEFA Nations League opponents following today’s draw in Brussels, Belgium.
Craig Bellamy’s side, who were promoted from League B as they topped their group in November 2024 to complete an undefeated campaign, were placed in Pot 4.
Cymru were the final team drawn out alongside Portugal, Denmark and Norway in Group A4.
The league phase will start with a prolonged international window from 24 September to 6 October 2026, during which teams will generally play four UEFA Nations League matches in close succession.
As a League A team, achieving a top two finish in the group would see Cymru progress to the quarter-finals that will take place in March 2027. The four quarter-final winners will then progress to the Nations League finals which will take place in June 2027 and will be hosted by one of the competing nations.
Finishing third would mean a relegation play-off against a team from League B also in March, while finishing bottom of the group would result in direct relegation ahead of the next edition of the competition.
