Jon Grey has named his squad for Round 2 of qualifying for the 2026/27 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
Cymru will have home advantage for their three qualifying fixtures, with all matches taking place at Rodney Parade in Newport.
Cymru will begin their campaign against Finland on Wednesday 11 November (7:00pm), before facing Spain on Saturday 14 November (12:30pm). They will then conclude their qualifying campaign against Iceland on Tuesday 17 November (12:00pm).
The mini tournament comes after an exciting summer for Cymru MU19s, having hosted the previous 2025/26 UEFA European Under-19 Championship finals in venues across north Wales in June and July. The upcoming qualifiers provide another opportunity to showcase Cymru as a host of international football, while giving supporters the chance to watch the next generation of talent in action on home soil.
Six players from that 2025/26 EURO squad – Noah Williams, Luis Gardner, Rob Tankiewicz, Shea Pita, Louie Bradbury and Will Grainger – feature again, with Williams and Gardner having gone on to captain the side during friendly fixtures that took place in September and October.
The top three in the group will remain in League A for Round 3, drawn on 10 December and played next spring. The team finishing fourth will be relegated to League B for Round 3.
Tickets for all Cymru matches at Rodney Parade are priced at £3 for adults and free entry for U16s. Tickets are available to purchase here. All six matches will be shown live on Cymru Football TV, with commentary provided by Rob Phillips.
