The October schedules for the Cymru men’s intermediate teams have been confirmed, with the MU17, MU18, and MU19 squads all set for international action across Europe.
Chris Gunter’s Cymru MU17 squad will travel to Italy for two friendly matches against Italy.
Cymru face Italy on Tuesday 14 October in the opening game (KO 2pm BST), before meeting the same opposition again on Thursday 16 October with an earlier kick-off time of 10am BST. Both fixtures will take place at the Ferentino Stadium.
Jon Grey’s MU18 side will take part in a friendly tournament in Croatia, where they will face three strong opponents including Sweden, Ukraine, and the host nation. Cymru open their campaign against Sweden on Thursday 9 October (2:45pm BST) in Poreč, before taking on Ukraine on Saturday 11 October (2:15pm BST).
They conclude the tournament against Croatia on Monday 13 September, with kick-off at 3pm BST. All matches will be played at the Zelena Laguna complex.
Preparations continue for the 2026 UEFA U19 EURO finals, which will be hosted in north Wales next summer, as Craig Knight’s Cymru MU19 side head to Spain to face Switzerland, the Netherlands, and England.
Cymru will face Switzerland on Wednesday 8 October (2pm BST), followed by the Netherlands on Saturday 11 October (5pm BST), before rounding off the camp against England on October 14 (11am BST).
