
With the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 squad revealed on Thursday morning, we now know the 23 players that will be heading to Switzerland this summer to represent Cymru in their first major international tournament, and there were plenty of celebrations on social media.
After Rhian Wilkinson’s squad announcement at the top of Yr Wyddfa, the following Cymru stars took to their various platforms to share their feelings after being chosen for the tournament.

Gemma Evans couldn’t hide her joy at fulfilling a lifelong dream, saying:

Esther Morgan shared a deeply personal message with fans:

Rachel Rowe shared the news with a touching Instagram video showcasing all the Cymru kits she has worn throughout her journey with the national team — a heartfelt tribute to the pride, passion, and significance this call-up holds for both herself and Wales.
Versatile midfielder Hayley Ladd, a vital figure throughout Cymru’s qualifying campaign, expressed her pride:
