Craig Bellamy has announced a 26-player squad for the final 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers away to Liechtenstein and home to North Macedonia.
Cymru are at near full strength heading into the international window, with Dan James being the only addition since last month’s camp which he missed due to injury.
The match in Vaduz on Saturday 15 November (KO 5pm GMT) will be the first time Cymru have travelled to Liechtenstein since 2009, and 3,000 fans are expected to be a part of the Red Wall for the fixture. The two sides faced each other in June at the Cardiff City Stadium, where Bellamy’s side secured a 3-0 win with Joe Rodon, Harry Wilson and Kieffer Moore scoring for Cymru.
Cymru will then return to Wales to play North Macedonia at the Cardiff City on Tuesday 18 November (KO 7:45pm), a match where both teams will be looking to gain precious points to help their qualifying campaign. The points were shared in reverse leg in March, where David Brooks’ last minute equaliser resulted in a 1-1 draw.
Cymru currently sit third in Group J, three points behind North Macedonia but with a game in hand, and four points behind Belgium. The group winners qualify directly for the World Cup; the four remaining berths are determined by play-offs involving the 12 group runners-up and four teams from last year’s Nations League phase.
The match against North Macedonia (7:45pm Tuesday 18 November) is on track to sellout the Cardiff City Stadium, and tickets are available to purchase on the FAW ticketing website.
