The Cymru U21 squad have a huddle before a match

Matty Jones has announced his Cymru U21 squad for their opening 2027 UEFA U21 EURO qualifier against Denmark.

Jones has selected a 23-player squad for the clash with the top seeds in Group I, taking place at Rodney Parade on Monday, September 8 (7:30pm).

There are welcome returns for Luke Harris, Ben Lloyd and Ed James, who rejoin the Cymru setup for the first time since March, while four players receive their first U21 call-ups: Vimal Yoganathan, Gabriele Biancheri, Dan Cox, and Kit Margetson.

Joel Cotterill, Cian Ashford, Sam Parker, and Luey Giles are also included, having featured in Craig Bellamy’s senior training camp during the last international window.
