Matty Jones has announced his Cymru squad for the upcoming UEFA U21 EURO 2027 qualifier against Belarus in Group I.
Jones’ side will be looking to build on their impressive 2-0 victory against Austria earlier last month, after responding well to a difficult home defeat to Belgium in the first of their October double-header.
Cymru now travel to face bottom side Belarus on Friday 14 November (2pm GMT), with the match scheduled to take place at Tengiz Burjanadze Stadium in Gori, Georgia.
In the squad, there are welcome returns for Kit Margetson, Cian Ashford, and Joel Cotterill, all of whom return for the first time since September.
Goalscorers from the Austria win, Chris Popov and Gabriele Biancheri retain their places in the squad, alongside Exeter City defender Ed James, who will return from a one-match suspension.
Charlie Crew and Kai Andrews are also included, having recently been involved in Craig Bellamy’s senior team squad in recent months.
Drawn from Pot 4 in February’s UEFA draw, Cymru face a tough qualification route but will aim to build on their strong away form when they take on Belarus in Georgia.
The match will be shown live on Sgorio.
