Cymru WU19 squad announced for Republic of Ireland double-header

Nicola Anderson has named a 20-player Cymru WU19 squad ahead of the upcoming international window.

Three players from the FAW South Girls Academy are named in the squad, including Evie Hughes, Lauren Davies and Chloe McMahon.

There is also Genero Adran Premier representation with Cardiff City’s Megan Bowen, who represented the Bluebirds in the UEFA Women’s Champions League last week, named in Anderson’s squad.

Cymru face the Republic of Ireland in a double-header later this month, with both matches taking place at Colliers Park in Wrexham.

Cymru’s first game will be on Wednesday 20 September with a 3pm kick off, before the second meeting between the two sides two days later on Friday 22nd September at 4pm.
