FAW Cup Draw Show: All you need to know

The FAW Cup Draw Show will be streamed on RedWall+ at 8:00pm on Wednesday, 4 October.

The FAW Cup Draw Show will feature the following national cup draws: 

  • Dragon Signs Amateur Trophy – Round 1
  • Bute Energy U16 Cup – Quarter Final

Details on each of the draws can be found below, including draw numbers and information on those clubs who have received byes.


Dragon Signs Amateur Trophy – Round 3

128 clubs will participate in Round 3, which is made up of the 86 winners from Round 2, as well as the 42 Tier 3 Clubs who were given byes. There will be no more byes in the competition from this stage onwards 

The draw will be split into South and North pots. The South pot will be made up of 72 clubs, while the North pot will be made up of 56 clubs to total 128 clubs. 

The Northern section will be done first, followed by the Southern section.


Bute Energy U16 Cup – Quarter Final

Eight clubs remain in the competition at this stage, with last season’s winners Barry Town United looking to defend the trophy. 

The draw will be non-regionalised at the Quarter Final stage, with all fixtures being drawn at once.
