The qualifying round draw of the FAW Youth Cup has taken place with ties set to be played on 10 September 2023.

Twelve clubs will participate in the Qualifying Round of the FAW Youth Cup with 58 clubs being allocated byes, which have been determined as follows:
- The 4 FAW Youth Cup semi-finalists from 2022 / 2023 season.
- All FAW Licensed Academies.
- 31 byes from the remaining clubs.
- In addition, due to the significant number of southern clubs who have entered, all 7 northern clubs have been allocated a bye in Qualifying Round 1.
