Hosted by Bablu Shikdar and former Cymru international Rob Earnshaw, the latest episode honours Black History Month, Show Racism the Red Card’s Month of Action, and Cymru’s thrilling victory over Slovakia in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Play-Off Semi-Final.
To celebrate Black History Month, FC Cymru visited The Dell Primary School in Chepstow, birthplace of Eddie Parris, Cymru’s first Black footballer. The school’s pupils joined for a special screening of The Dragon on My Shirt, ‘Finding Eddie Parris’, led by author and series presenter Darren Chetty, alongside Rob Earnshaw.
The Dragon on My Shirt series, along with the FAW’s educational resources, aims to inspire change by tackling racism and amplifying the stories of Cymru players from Black, Asian, and Ethnically Diverse backgrounds.
This episode also includes a special recognition for teams across the nation supporting Show Racism the Red Card’s Month of Action, underscoring the importance of this initiative and the collective effort to end racism in sport.
Following Cymru’s victory, match-winner Ceri Holland extended a heartfelt thanks to fans, expressing how much their incredible support means to the team. This episode also highlights the Breichledau: For Her bracelet-making station, which added an extra touch of unity and camaraderie on match day.
