Cymru manager, Rhian Wilkinson has been added to the line-up for the FAW National Coaches Conference in Newport between 23 and 24 May.
Wilkinson holds vast experience as a player with 183 international caps for Canada to her name and following her retirement from playing, she made the move into coaching, winning the National Women’s Soccer League championship in 2022 whilst in charge of the Portland Thorns.
Having been appointed as Manager of the Cymru Women’s National Team in 2024, Wilkinson led the side to their first ever major tournament with qualification for UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in Switzerland.
Wilkinson will be discussing a theory session at the National Coaches Conference this year and taking part in a Q&A event on Transformational and Adaptable Leaders.
What qualifications can I revalidate?
The two-day conference offers coaches the chance to revalidate the following UEFA qualifications:
- UEFA Pro Diploma
- UEFA A Diploma
- UEFA Elite Youth A Diploma
- UEFA A Goalkeepers Diploma
- UEFA B Diploma
- UEFA B Goalkeepers Diploma
