The first live match of the 2022/23 edition of the JD Welsh Cup will be the Round 2 fixture between Caersws and Flint Town United on Saturday, 8 October 2022.
The match will be shown on S4C’s Sgorio YouTube and Facebook channels with a 5:15pm kick off at the Recreation Ground.
Caersws are a former top flight club but currently play in the Lock Stock Ardal NE, where they currently sit 4th. The Mid Wales club will relish the visit of JD Cymru Premier outfit Flint Town, who will be looking to avoid a cup upset against the Bluebirds.
“This is always an exciting time of the season,” said FAW Senior Competitions Manager, Nick Davies. “The early rounds of the JD Welsh Cup often create these types of fantastic ties and I’m sure Caersws are incredibly excited to welcome Flint Town United and the Sgorio cameras.”
