Cymru welcome Bosnia and Herzegovina to Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday (6 October) for a FIFA Women’s World Cup Play-Off match.
The game kicks off at 7:15pm.
Tickets for the match are available at FAW.cymru/tickets. Cymru are close to playing in front of another record crowd so don’t miss out and be sure to check this important information ahead of the game.
Digital tickets will be emailed to fans two-days prior to the match and can be downloaded to Apple Wallet / Google Pay. This should be done prior to travelling to the stadium.
ARRIVE EARLY – STADIUM ENTRY
Fans are advised to arrive early at Cardiff City Stadium with their digital tickets downloaded prior to travel.
Bags will be searched upon entry to the stadium so it’s advised to bring as little as possible with you.
As a measure to help with the risk of lost children, wristbands will be available for children to wear that parent/guardian contact details can be displayed on.
CAR PARKING
Car parking at Cardiff City Stadium is limited and available on a first come first served basis.
The cost of parking is £5 and it is recommended that fans arrive at the stadium with the correct amount.
There’s also very limited number of accessible parking bays which will be available on a first come first served basis.
Entry to the car park will be via main entrance off Leckwith Road and access will close 60 minutes before kick off or as soon as the car park is full, whichever is the earliest.
The nearby Gôl Centre also offer parking for £10 per vehicle and spaces can be booked by clicking here.
Fans can also utilise city centre parking and make their way to the stadium on foot. Car park info from Visit Cardiff can be found here.
RAIL TRAVEL
Transport for Wales have informed the FAW that engineering work on the railways will be suspended on the evening/night of the match to allow travel to and from Cardiff stations for those attending the match at Cardiff City Stadium. Transport for Wales have detailed the following information:
- There will be engineering work on Thursday on the Valleys network (Cardiff to Pontypridd and beyond, Cardiff – Ebbw Vale and North of Caerphilly – Rhymney) with services replaced by buses.
- Transport for Wales will have extra buses in place to accommodate the expected increase in demand.
- Due to rail strikes planned for 4-7 October, Great Western trains to/from London, Newport and Swansea will stop running at c.1900. Transport for Wales are looking to run some extra trains on the day to and from Bridgend and Newport to compensate.
FREE CYMRU HANDOUTS
There will be free Cymru handouts upon entry to the stadium for children. These include the new shirt design and a sticker pack to put your own name on the shirt.
CASHLESS STADIUM
Please note, the majority of the food and beverage kiosks at Cardiff City Stadium are now cashless. The system is designed to improve speed of service and reduce queuing times. Kiosks that accept cash will be signposted.

AUDIO DESCRIPTION COMMENTARY SERVICE
The FAW have an audio description commentary service at the Cardiff City Stadium for the upcoming Cymru International match.
The free to use service for blind and vision impaired spectators will be provided by Alan March Sport Ltd and will be available to fans with trained audio describers keeping up with play to the second to ensure listeners know exactly where the ball is and what is happening on the pitch.

You will need to provide your name, phone number and ticket information (Stand, block, row and seat) and your receiver will be delivered by a steward prior to kick off.
It will be possible to request a receiver on the day by speaking to a steward at the stadium. Please note receivers are subject to availability. We advise users to bring their own headphones to ensure both comfort and hygiene.
PYROTECHNIC WARNING
There is no safe use of pyrotechnics in spectator areas at football events with their use having many health risks and dangers such as loss of sight, limb or digit removal due to their explosive power.
Being in possession of a pyrotechnic device at a football match or attempting to bring such a device into a football stadium, is a criminal offence under the Sporting Events Act 1985. Any person committing such an offence faces an FA Wales ban, probable arrest and a minimum 3-year Football Banning Order.
Additionally, should persons be identified using pyrotechnics in places of public assembly away from and en route to the stadium, they can be issued with section 34 notices and be instructed to leave the area with details passed to the FAW, Cardiff City Stadium and the authorities. This may result in entry to the stadium being denied.
ENTERTAINMENT
Fans are encouraged to arrive early at the stadium and enjoy the entertainment inside and outside the venue. You may also catch a samba band in and around the stadium.
NATIONAL ANTHEM
Fans are urged to make every attempt to be in their seats by as early as possible to show the Cymru squad support when they come out onto the pitch for their pre-match warm-up.
Make sure that you’re in your seat for Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau. The squad want it to be as spine-tingling as normal and for your passion to make the noise.
