All You Need to Know Ahead of JD Welsh Cup Semi-Finals

Four teams will look to book their place in the 134th JD Welsh Cup final. Here is everything you need to know ahead of this weekend’s semi-finals…

Who has reached the last four?

Four clubs from the JD Cymru Premier will contest for a place in this season’s final, with Bala Town taking on Connah’s Quay Nomads on Friday evening and Penybont facing the defending JD Welsh Cup champions The New Saints on Saturday afternoon.

Where are the semi-finals taking place?

The Essity Stadium – home of Flint Town United – will host Bala Town and Connah’s Quay Nomads, while Carmarthen Town’s Richmond Park is the venue for Penybont and The New Saints.

What time are the kick-offs?

Bala Town and Connah’s Quay Nomads get under way at 7:45pm on Friday and Penybont’s clash with The New Saints kicks off at 12:45pm on Saturday.

How much is admission?

Admission is available on the gate on the day of the semi-finals for the following prices:
Adults – £8
Over 65 – £5
Under 16 – Free

All spectators will have to pay on entry in cash only (no card or apple pay payments are available).

Can I pick up a souvenier?

Match cards will be available to pick up for free at both semi-finals, providing you with a rundown on the teams.

Are the semi-finals televised?

The first semi-final between Bala Town and Connah’s Quay Nomads on Friday evening will be available to watch live on Sgorio’s digital platforms, BBC iPlayer and S4C Clic.

Penybont’s clash with The New Saints on Saturday will be shown live on S4C, Sgorio’s digital platforms, BBC iPlayer and S4C Clic.
