Ben Davies awarded UEFA A Licence

Ben Davies is given his A Licence by the FAW’s Chief Football Officer, Dr David Adams

Ahead of today’s match (26 March) against Poland for a place at UEFA EURO 2024, Ben Davies has been presented with his UEFA A and Elite Youth A Licence.

Davies has been studying on the course over the past two years whilst coaching at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, where he has been assessed, monitored and supported by an FAW Mentor.

The course Davies has undertaken is framed within the FAW’s ‘Welsh Way’ principles of play, that gets coaches to have the capacity to plan and design meaningful practice and challenge their personal philosophy to develop the individual’s and team’s multi-disciplinary demands.

The coaching course is delivered through flexible teaching methods with residential teaching and in-situ support between each contact session. The FAW’s highly skilled mentoring staff will challenge the individual needs of the coach within their own context.
