This Sunday the 12th of June, the Football Association of Wales are hosting the first Clwb PAWB Summit.
The Clwb PAWB Programme is a framework for developing an equal and inclusive Club that is representative of the local community and Club Equality Champions play their part in ensuring football truly is for everyone.
The Clwb PAWB Summit will provide an opportunity for FAW Club Equality Champions, Coaches, Officials and Volunteers to develop their understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and connect with others who are passionate about driving change in football.
A range of sessions will be delivered by experts in EDI, which all complement the FAW’s ongoing PAWB Education Programme.
The Clwb PAW Summit webinars will feature representatives who are leading the way in creating an inclusive environment and delivering football for all provisions across Wales.
Guest speakers will showcase their Club initiatives, share their experiences and provide practical tips through both panel discussions and presentations. The summit will also feature a “drop-in” networking session which will enable the opportunity for attendees to ask questions to FA Wales staff leading on EDI.
The Clwb PAWB Summit which is hosted during Pride Month will feature sessions including ‘Trans & non-binary Inclusion in Football’, ‘Engaging with Diverse Communities’, Disability Inclusion and Colour Blind Awareness amongst many others, which can all be viewed at: www.pawb.cymru/clwbpawbsummit
