Crunch time for Cymru

It’s crunch time for Cymru as Rhian Wilkinson and her squad play their final two games of the UEFA Women’s Qualifiers for EURO 2025.

Cymru are in Zagreb for today’s match against Croatia, that kicks off at 19:15. They will then welcome Kosovo to Llanelli on Tuesday, 16 July (KO 18:00).

Wilkinson’s team have already secured a play-off spot but their seeding will be determined on their final group position. Cymru’s destiny is in their own hands and two wins would guarantee top spot.

Promotion out of Group B4 is also on offer but this cannot be achieved if Cymru lose to Croatia.

The permutations for the group ahead of the final matches are as follows:

  • Croatia are confirmed in the play-offs. They will be promoted if they beat Cymru.
  • Cymru are confirmed in the play-offs. They will be unable to be promoted if they lose to Croatia.
  • Ukraine will be confirmed in the play-offs if they do not lose to Kosovo. Ukraine will be unable to be promoted if they do not win or Croatia do.
  • Kosovo will be relegated if they do not beat Ukraine. Kosovo cannot be promoted. Kosovo will be unable to reach the play-offs if they lose.
