
Cymru will face England at the Bangor City Stadium in their opening game of the UEFA MU19 EURO Elite Round.
Chris Gunter’s side qualified for the Elite Round after finishing second in the qualification round back in November. They secured wins against Scotland and Liechtenstein, finishing second to France.
England, managed by Will Antwi, topped their group, defeating Lithuania and Bulgaria before drawing with Belgium in their final match.
Cymru are in a four team group that also consists of England, Portugal and Türkiye. Matches are to be played across various stadiums in North Wales from March 19 to March 25. Here’s all you need to know ahead of Cymru’s clash with England.
Matchday Guide
The match takes place at the Bangor City Stadium on Wednesday 19 March (KO 7pm). Stadium gates will open at 5:00pm.
Arriving early is advised to avoid queues. Ticket holders should have their digital ticket ready at the turnstile for quick entry.
Seated tickets holders should enter via Turnstile A whilst standing ticket holders should go through Turnstile B.
On-site parking is extremely limited and so Bangor City Stadium have asked those in attendance to consider alternative transport options.
A selection of food and soft drinks will be available to spectators inside the stadium. No alcohol will be sold at the match.
The address to find the stadium is Bangor City Stadium, Nantporth, Bangor, LL57 2HQ. Bangor Train Station is 1.3 miles from the stadium, approximately a 25-minute walk. Taxis are available at the station.
Local bus services will be running on their usual routes. Please check Traveline Cymru for schedules.
There is a Shuttle Bus Service running and the pick up is at Deiniol Centre Tan-Y-Fynwent Garth Rd, Bangor LL57 1NW. It runs every 15 minutes from 5:30pm to 10:00pm.
Ticket information
A sell out is expected so to avoid disappointment it is advised that tickets are bought online prior to the match.
Tickets for the matches against Portugal and Türkiye in Rhyl on Saturday 22 March and Tuesday 25 March can be bought on the gate.

Welsh language broadcaster S4C are showing the games on their digital platforms. The match will be available on the streaming service S4C Clic, as well as Sgorio’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
