The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Draw took place in Washington DC today (5 December) at the John F. Kennedy Center, where Cymru learned who they will play should they navigate the Play-Offs in March.
The winners of Cymru’s FIFA World Cup Play-off pathway were drawn in Group B alongside:
- Canada
- Qatar
- Switzerland
To reach the FIFA World Cup, Craig Bellamy’s side will play Bosnia & Herzegovina in the semi-final and will meet either Italy or Northern Ireland should they progress to the final.
The FIFA World Cup 2026, being hosted across Canada, Mexico and USA kicks off on Thursday, 11 June at Mexico City Stadium with Mexico v South Africa. The final will take place on Sunday, 19 July at New York New Jersey Stadium.
