As excitement builds for this summer’s UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 finals in Switzerland, FC Cymru visits Lliswerry Primary School in Newport alongside Cymru Head Coach Rhian Wilkinson. Pupils take part in a range of football-inspired activities, as Rhian Wilkinson discusses the rapid growth of women’s football in Wales and the role of the FAW’s CicStart framework in developing and nurturing grassroots talent.
The episode also explores the FAW’s PAWB Mentoring Programme, featuring special guest and former Cymru international Robert Earnshaw. He discusses the support and inspiration available to individuals from Black, Asian, Mixed-Heritage and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who are interested in pursuing careers within the football world.
