The JD Welsh Cup Round Four tie between Connah’s Quay Nomads and Mold Alexandra has been selected for live Sgorio coverage by S4C.
The fixture at the Essity Stadium will kick-off at 5:20pm on Saturday 14 December and will be available to watch on S4C, S4C Clic and Sgorio’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
It will be the first time that the two Flintshire clubs will meet in competitive action since they were both in the Welsh top-flight in the 1994/95 season. The Nomads are currently eighth in the JD Cymru Premier, while Mold sit sixth in the JD Cymru North.
The Nomads are the current JD Welsh Cup holders after beating The New Saints in last season’s final and have progressed past Guilsfield and Trefelin in the competition so far this term.
This is Mold Alex’s first ever appearance in Round Four, after they caused the biggest upset of the last round by winning 2-1 against top-flight Briton Ferry Llansawel.
