WU19 squad confirmed for EURO qualifiers

Nia Davies has confirmed the Cymru WU19 squad for the upcoming UEFA WU19 EURO qualifiers which will take place in south Wales.

Cymru are in League A for Round 1 of the qualifying campaign to reach the 2025/26 UEFA WU19 EURO finals. All three of Cymru’s matches will take place in Dragon Park, Newport with the campaign starting against Finland on Wednesday 26 November (KO 6pm).

The second match against Türkiye will take place on Saturday 29 November (KO 2pm) and the final match of the campaign will take place on Tuesday 2 December (KO 2pm).

Gwen Zimmerman and Scarlett Hill will be involved in the squad after receiving their first senior team caps last month. Several players called up were involved in last year’s qualifying campaign which ended with an impressive second place finish in League A for the second round of qualifying.

Nia Davies’ will need to finish in the top three of the group to secure League A status for the second round of qualifying.

All six matches in the mini-tournament will be available to watch live on RedWall+ and the FAW’s YouTube page.
