Cymru WU17 squad announced for Republic of Ireland 

Cymru WU17 head coach Pete Wilson has named his squad for the upcoming friendly double-header in Ireland.

Wilson, who was appointed as head coach last month, has named a 20-player squad for his first games in charge against the Republic of Ireland.

The first game of the window against the Republic of Ireland gets under way at 2pm on Wednesday 25 September at the FAI National Training Centre. The sides will meet again at the AUL Complex, Clonshaugh three days later on Saturday 28 September at 2pm.

The friendlies will aid preparations for Cymru’s 2024/25 UEFA WU17 EURO League A Round One qualifying fixtures in October. Wilson’s side have been drawn alongside Switzerland, Slovenia and hosts Portugal with matches taking place 23-29 October.
